Lee Valley White Water Canoe Centre in Broxbourne

Tickets have again today gone back on sale, however this time they will be on a first come first-served basis. There is not tickets for every sports or venue left however Volleyball, weightlifting and football are some of the sports left with available tickets, I would not wait around as it is first come first-served basis, and the over 2 million people have already visited the website sense 0600 Friday when the tickets went on sale.

two GB Slalom juniors have won two gold medals in Slovakia.

Ryan Westley and Bethan Latham two of teams GBs most talented juniors opened the international season of with a bang bringing home two medals, one being Ryans in the c1 mens and the other Bethan K1 womens. This is a great start to the season and hopefully a sign of things to come for Team GB with the 2012 London Olympics next year Team GB canoe slalom team will step up to the plate and show of at the brand new Lee Valley White Water Centre that has been recently opened to the public.

On Sunday 22nd may I had my interview to become a games maker, I was interviews to be part of the canoe team which is for both the Canoe Slalom and Flat Water Racing at the interview we was asked which area we would be best suited and what we would ideally like to do. Before you go through to have your interview there is host which come round looking for people and asking about there skills and what they can bring to the event. This is a good time to treat it like a interview tell them all your qualifications the more you tell the more it may sink in well that how I feel anyway.

The interview is not that bad it is very much read from a book to you (the interviewer is also a volunteer) just bare that in mind if you feel nerves . You don’t find out until late 2011 around October time onwards whether you ave what it take to become a games maker.
